8 days Primate tracking safari Uganda offers an intimate 8 days Chimpanzee and Gorilla tracking experience. This itinerary covers Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest national park, Wildlife and boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth national park and Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park.

Kibale is home to Uganda’s highest chimpanzee population including the habituated and the non habituated groups . Besides an escorted walk, visitors can also observe these chimpanzees via the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience which is always a 4 hour activity. In contrast to chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, Bwindi Impenetrable forest national Park main attraction is Gorilla trekking. Finding these gorillas can be an arduous task sometimes. However, the ranger tracking team leave early to locate the gorillas and after they have found them, they communicate to the ranger guides for the exact location of the gorilla family.  Currently there are twelve family groups that may be visited by a maximum of eight tourists per day.
